Mathematics Department secretary Vickie Mayberry received the 2008 Outstanding Staff Award. Mathematics Department secretaries Vickie Mayberry and Patsy Peavyhouse won an Awesome Office prize for their "Let the Fun Begin." office decorations during Tech Pride Week. Dr. Richard Le Borne was named a recipient of the 2008 Outstanding Faculty Award for Teaching  at spring commencement.
