"Stability of Algorithms in Signal Processing".
Recipient of a three year grant awarded in 1996 by the National Science Foundation to develop a consistent approach with the stability analysis of signal processing algorithms using numerical analysis techniques and matrix perturbation theory. Reference Grant No. MIP-9625482.

NSF-NATO Fellowship (1996-1997):
Recipient of a National Science Foundation North Atlantic Treaty Organization Postdoctoral Fellowship in Science and Engineering. The fellowship funded a full-time research program at the Defense Research Agency in England. Reference Grant No. GER-9552624.

CECA Scholar:
Awarded for the 1994-1995 academic year as well as the following Summer. This award was a research grant supporting one-half release time from teaching duties. Additionally, the recipient also received $3000.00 for research and travel (Summer, 1995).
