This edition of the Tech Times marks the final one in its current formatting. Beginning the first week of December, the new user-fueled Tech Times will start arriving in the morning e-mail boxes of Tennessee Tech faculty, staff and, for the first time, students.
"The latest incarnation of Tech Times came about through our desire to create a stronger internal communication method," said Monica Greppin, associate vice president for Communications & Marketing.
The new Tech Times will consist of two daily electronic newsletters: A version for faculty/staff and a version for students.
"The faculty, staff and students of TTU will help control the content," said Valeri Oliver of the Office of Public Affairs, who will be coordinating the project. "The Office of Public Affairs will do some editing, but it is the responsibility of those submitting content to ensure that the information is accurate and timely."
