Relative risk

Assuming that there is no association between drugs and AR's, the frequency of reporting incident involving particular drugs and AR's can be predicted. This predicted frequency is called ``baseline'' (BASE as it appears when the title ``Listwise RR'' is pressed). When drugs and AR's are associated, however, ``drug-event association'' is reflected by the difference between the baseline and the observed count (N). The ratio ``N / BASE'' is called ``relative risk'' (RR).

RR measures a disproportionality.
