    • About data sets

    All the data sets come from exercises in the textbook by Ott and Longnecker. Each data file is given in a ``comma separated value'' (CSV) form, and named ``ex'' for exercise, followed by the chapter number, then the exercise number and finally by the extension for the file type ``.csv''. For example, ``ex5-23.csv'' indicates Exercise 23 in Chapter 5. Data files for case studies are named by chapter.
